Supporting women through every season of wellbeing.
Women's health is personal, layered, and constantly evolving. Explore evidence-informed resources on heart health, screenings, burnout, and advocating for your wellbeing.
Pillar One — Prevention
Prevention & Screenings
Routine screenings are one of the most powerful wellness strategies available. Many conditions are most treatable when caught before symptoms appear. Know what to ask for — and when.
Annual Checkups
See your healthcare provider every year — even when you feel fine. These visits catch issues before they become problems.
Know Your History
Your menstrual history, pregnancy experiences, and family medical history are all vital data for your provider.
Vision, Hearing & Dental
These specialists are part of your care team too. Establish routines for each and address issues early.
Communicate Openly
Your provider is there to help. Ask questions. Share concerns. Informed decisions start with honest conversations.
Screenings for Every Stage of Life
These guidelines reflect average-risk recommendations. If you have a personal or family history of certain conditions, your provider may recommend earlier or more frequent screenings.

Write It All Down
Make a list of anything that hurts, worries you, or feels different. Include physical and mental health changes. List your current medications and supplements.
Gather Your Health History
Your personal health history — including periods, pregnancy, and mental health — and your family's history of disease are important for your provider to know.
Bring Support
You can bring a trusted friend or family member to help you feel at ease, remember questions, and take notes on your behalf.
Pillar Two — Heart & Metabolic
Heart & Metabolic Health
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States — and it affects women of all ages. Metabolic health, nutrition, and lifestyle are all connected. Awareness is where change begins.
Interactive Tool
Heart Disease Risk Assessment
Check any risk factors that apply to you. Bring these results to your provider.

Heart-Healthy Lifestyle
Heart-Healthy Eating
Focus on whole foods, vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins. Limit saturated fats, sodium, and added sugars.
Regular Physical Activity
Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate activity per week. Walking counts. Start where you are.
Quality Sleep
Less than 7 hours per night is a cardiovascular risk factor. Prioritize sleep as a heart health strategy.
Stress Management
Chronic stress affects heart health directly. Nervous system regulation, movement, connection, and rest all contribute.
Blood Pressure Awareness
Know your numbers. High blood pressure often has no symptoms. Ask your provider to check and explain your results.
Avoid Smoking
Smoking significantly increases cardiovascular risk at every age. Your provider can support cessation planning.
Key Reminder
Coronary heart disease is a lifelong condition. The choices you make now — at any age — affect your heart health for decades. It is never too early to start, and never too late to improve.

Burnout to Blooming
Coach Dina Mitchell
MNLP | PCC | CMC
KW Wellness Certified Menopause Coach • MAPS Senior Mastery Coach
An 8-week guided journey that helps you gently restore energy, confidence, and clarity — without shame, pressure, or rigid rules. Led by Coach Dina Mitchell, this series helps you nourish, move, and think in ways that honor your midlife body.
Because this season isn't about going back. It's about moving forward — on purpose.
Week 1
Awareness Before Action
The Foundation — Understanding Your Midlife Body
"Midlife isn't about fixing who you were. It's about aligning with the woman you're becoming."
In Week 1, we laid the foundation for everything that comes next. This week was not about fixing your body, forcing motivation, or getting it right. This week was about awareness before action — because in midlife, change doesn't start with more discipline. It starts with understanding what your body has been asking for.
Week 2
Nourishing Your Energy
The Red / Yellow / Green Nutrition Framework
"You are not behind. You are learning how to work with your body again."
If Week 2 left you thinking, 'Oh… so that's why I've been so tired,' you're exactly where you need to be. This week we introduced a flexible, body-responsive nutrition framework that honors where your energy actually is — rather than demanding the same output every single day.
Week 3
Why Midlife Weight Loss Feels Different
The Identity Shift — From Pushing Harder to Responding with Strategy
"My body is adapting, and adaptation takes time and support."
Week 3 was pivotal. It's the week where many women finally realize that the struggle they've been blaming on discipline, motivation, or willpower is actually a normal midlife response to hormonal shifts, stress, and years of pushing their bodies to comply. This week wasn't about fixing anything — it was about understanding what's really happening.
Week 5
Silencing Food Noise
Where Things Get Honest
"Midlife progress isn't built through perfection. It's built through repair."
Week 5 is where things get honest. This is the week many women realize that what they've been calling 'lack of control' around food is actually nervous system fatigue, inconsistent nourishment, and years of dieting noise layered on top of hormonal shifts.
Week 6
Consistency Without Burnout
Behavior vs. Being
"You are a woman who returns. That is what consistency actually looks like."
Week 6 invites us to rethink one of the most misunderstood ideas in health and wellness: consistency. For years, women have been taught that consistency means doing everything perfectly. But in midlife, expecting rigid sameness becomes unrealistic.
Week 7
Plateaus, Setbacks & Red Days
Progress in Midlife Is Not Linear
"Plateaus and setbacks are part of how my body adapts and grows."
Week 7 is where the real work deepens. Plateaus, setbacks, and Red days are not signs that something is wrong. They are part of the process of building something that actually lasts.
Week 8
You Are Becoming
The Final Week — A Sustainable Way of Living
"This is how burnout turns into bloom."
At the end of these eight weeks, the biggest shift isn't just what you've done — it's who you've become. There is a new steadiness in how you respond. You're no longer fighting yourself in the same way.
